District Sonebhadra lies in the extreme southeast of the Uttar Pradesh, and is bounded by Mirzapur District to the northwest, Chandoli District to the north, Kaimur and Rohtas districts of Bihar state to the northeast, Garhwa district of Jharkhand state to the east, Koriya and Surguja districts of Chhattisgarh state to the south, and Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh state to the west.

It is currently a part of the Red Corridor. Due to poverty, naxalism are spreading in very poor and poor tribal villagers. Basic needs of life foods, clean water, medical facility & basic education are not easily available in some part of district: Sonebhadra, due to its hilly and forest structure.

Our team is trying to reach in these areas and do the needful SEVA among them and we are trying to improve the educational and technical knowledge, so that having been trained, they could be self-employed and can become constructive citizen of India. With their improved financial condition, they will not be diverted towards the path of naxalism and join the main stream of society.
